Rachel Davis began her woodworking career at The Apprenticeshop in Rockland, ME, building traditional wooden boats, before completing the Nine-month Comprehensive at CFC in 2018. Rachel has subsequently worked for Phi Builders and Architects as a site carpenter, then building cabinets and furniture, and then as foreman. She now works at Appenzeller Woodworking, a woman-owned and run cabinet shop in the mid-coast Maine. Rachel has continued her studies at Suikoushya International Craft School in Japan and at the Professional School of Practical Stereotomy. She is the co-founder and chair of the non-profit Tradeswomen of Maine.
