Aaron Johnson took to carpentry at a young age and woodworking quickly became an integral part of his life. His years of woodworking were split up by an enlistment in the USMC where he added maintenance and management skills while overseeing varied tasks on a flight line of C-130 aircraft. He is a graduate of our Nine-month Comprehensive and now serves as the Production Manager at Fernweh Woodworking, located in Bend, OR. What brings him the most joy is guiding the design process in terms of structural integrity, finding the best way to design and produce parts, making jigs to streamline production processes, and striving to balance speed, quality, and love for the craft.
