June 11 – September 8, 2021

“New Work by Faculty,” an exhibition of contemporary wood furniture, furnishings, turnings, sculpture, and stringed instruments has opened for the summer at the Messler Gallery of the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport. The show runs through September 8, 2021 and visitors are welcome.

The 19 woodworkers, designers, and artists whose work is on display are accomplished professional makers who are traveling from around the nation to teach at the Rockport school this year. “We are delighted to be able to welcome the public back to the Messler Gallery with such a strong collection of work,” says Gallery Director Victoria Allport. “The stylistic diversity of the show is just what you would expect at a school that is committed to helping every student find their personal voice.”
