ROCKPORT, ME – The Center for Furniture Craftsmanship’s annual exhibition New Work by Faculty opened for the summer on Friday, June 14th at the school’s Messler Gallery. The 23 woodworkers, designers, and artists represented are leaders in the fields of furniture making and design, wood turning, marquetry, and carving.
Exhibitors from across the U.S.A. and Canada include: Barbara Dill (Rockville, VA), Adrian Ferrazzutti (Guelph, ON), Mark Gardner (Saluda, NC), Garrett Hack (Thetford Center, VT), Reed Hansuld (Brooklyn, NY), Owain Harris (Center Barnstead, NH), Beth Ireland (St. Petersburg, FL), Steven Kennard (Canning, NS), Mike Korsak (Pittsburgh, PA), Mary May (Johns Island, SC), Harvey Meyer (Dunwoody, GA), Kenneth Stahl (St. Louis, MO), Bobby Sukrachand (Ridgewood, NY), Josh Vogel (Kingston, NY), and Kimberly Winkle (Cookeville, TN). Participants from Maine include: John Bryan (North Yarmouth), Patrick Coughlin (Appleton), Jim Macdonald (Burnham), Erica Moody (Waldoboro), Mac Ray (Damariscotta), Brian Reid (Rockland), Tim Rousseau (Appleton), and Libby Schrum (Camden).
