The 4th annual exhibition of Current Student Work opened Friday, April 25th at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship’s Messler Gallery.
The aesthetic range of the work on display reflects the diverse backgrounds of the 13 students, who arrived in September to immerse themselves in the art of furniture making. Under the expert leadership of instructor David Upfill-Brown and a host of local, national and international visiting instructors, the class has produced an impressive collection of original work. Exhibiting students include Brycen Buum,Cale Caboth, Patrick Downes, Mark Foehl, Mark Juliana, Will Karnedy, Mason McBrien, Tim Nuanes, Drew Peck, Myrl Phelps, Chad Rupple, David Smith and Terry Werner. Their one-of-a-kind designs will be on display in the Gallery through May 30, 2008, and many will be offered for sale.
