Max Brosi is a professional woodturner in County Leitrim, Ireland. He has exhibited widely in Ireland, and been represented throughout the U.S. by galleries such as del Mano, Kirsten Muenster Projects (SOFA Chicago), and Gallery Dobrinka Salzman. Max’s work is in the permanent collection of The Center for Art in Wood in Philadelphia, PA, where he participated in the International Turning Exchange in 2007. Other honors include a National Crafts Award from the Royal Dublin Society and an excellence award from the American Association of Woodturners, in 2015. Most recently, Max was the subject of a feature article, “The Static becomes Dynamic“, in the April 2020 issue of American Woodturner.
