Mac Ray (Damariscotta, ME) is a Maine woodturner with experience in virtually every aspect of the craft, from decorative vessels to architectural elements. In his fifty-plus years in woodworking he has also built period furniture, carved for Mystic Seaport, and reproduced 19th-century grandfather and banjo clocks. Between fishing trips to Canada and stacking firewood for the long Maine winters, Mac often participates in our turning courses as an assistant instructor.

Mac co-teaches various turning classes.
